brixton village / market row

was talking to a friend T, from clapham during dissection (of all times!) and we lapsed into london-mode, swapping foodie tips. the last time the mister and i were in brixton, we'd stuffed ourselves at the village and were way too full for pizza when we finally rolled into market row. T reminded me about franko manca and i made a mental note to satisfy the craving over the weekend. joined by our dear friend K, who was back from luton (he's posted there for final year of medsch), we made our way across the river. the pizza didn't disappoint, although K did remark that they'd a branch at westfield that would've spared us the trek heh. but we're purists! and only the original would do. almost let ourselves be waylaid by churros and kicking myself for not giving in, before coffee at federation coffee and okanmiyaki at okan.
