my super brave and adventurous cousin and cousin-in-law left their stable jobs to embark on the adventure that is cooking school. just before they started, we'd the privilege of having them in london for a few days. the best part about cousins who are off to LCB*paris is that they know good food. and i was only too happy to share with them our neighbourhood haunt. feel semi-guilty that living a few streets away from one of our favourite restaurants means we are horribly predictable when it comes to hosting friends. but hey, if it aint broke, don't fix it! and we've yet to be disappointed :)
after a leisurely lunch (somehow we've never manage to make it out before three!) it was so good to finally have them over for bubbles and berries. because what says summer better than an organic rose? then it was another walk to aid digestion before our blow out roast duck dinner. for once, saying goodbye wasn't hard because we were going to visit them in paris in a couple of days. hooray for blurred borders and a shrinking world.
