after repeated failed attempts, finally made it to imp*treasure steamboat. felt bad cancelling the previous times and poor SIL would make a reso only to have to call it off later. inlaws had been raving about the stock and sauces, two things they know i'm crazy for, and they're so sweet to want to take me there. continuously humbled by how their thoughtfulness, and how they indulge my strange tastes so. really should've taken a photo of the steamboat cauldrons and spread but forgot. was a little -_- at the price because steamboat is cheap and easy (AND I CAN MAKE IT TOO!) but i wasn't paying so best to hold peace ;)
