a couple of days ago, there was a flurry while i was in class and when i walked home, this is what i saw :) sent the photo to the family whatsapp and my MIL said it looked like a kampong, albeit a tidy one. she meant it in the kindest possible way and was surprised when i told her the building. a former rectory, was about 200 years old. funny, isn't it. a building that's been around since before raffles founded singers. put things into perspective!
and this was just the beginning of the snowstorm. the flakes got thicker and fell fast and furiously. so much so that when i'd to trudge across the moor to get to the gp practice, it was frozen over.
