last ikeda of the year

back from zurich and straight to ikeda, kinda. because it was their last night before closing till early january, and the very shrewd ken-san has decided to stop serving noodles next year. where am i going to get my inaniwa udon fix??? he said it was typically a quiet night, which led me to opportunistically asking if he'd mind going off piste and having the chefs prepare tempura soba rolls. there was a name for it but in the midst of my gluttony, it was in one ear and out the other. also, it's one of the first dishes i'd tried at ikeda before it was discontinued so to finally savour it again after all these years was very special.

they're known for their norwegian king crab, which was wonderful as always. also had the hamachi collar and would've loved to have the iberico tonkatsu but resisted cos i'd a obgyn weigh in just before :/

soho

woke relatively early for a saturday and it was dreary and drizzling. the natural breakfast choice was therefore hot japanese at koya bar for rice porridge and udon. nothing like hot slurpy breakfast to warm the cockles of my heart. had onsen egg and hard boiled egg with runny centre, and grilled fish, but somehow that still wasn't enough protein and waltzed outta koya bar and straight to shackfukyu for wagyu sukiyaki picanha (and more uncooked egg :/) and because i can't leave shackfukyu without kinako french toast and matcha soft serve, that went down too. moseyed around soho, found our way to covent garden and then to mr fogg's. after visiting the gin parlour a couple of weeks ago with my cousin and cousin in law, it seemed like an appropriate stop on a still rainy afternoon. i wanted something hot and non alcoholic, like mulled wine or toddy but they did neither. a hot spiced cider would've really hit the spot but unforch had to make do with a fruity mocktail. meh.

and maybe a negroni...

maze grill

am without a doubt a creature of habit and justify my beef-eating as defensive diet to avoid pregnancy-related anaemia.

that said, feel horribly let down by my GP and nhs antenatal care in general. had booking visit at week 8, returned to sg week 9, registered at new practice week 17 and informed them that i needed an urgent referral to local maternity services because anomaly scan (done at 18-20 weeks) was coming up. was reassured by the f2 i saw that this would be done. a month passed and i started to wonder if i would ever see the midwife. rang the GP surgery repeatedly to follow up week 21 onwards (because i thought it was reasonable to wait a month before kicking up a fuss) and was told by various people to 'wait till the end of the week then ring again' if i'd still not heard from the midwives. by which time, i was so frustrated i gave up and paid for an anomaly scan at harley street because, uh, if there's anything wrong with the baby i'd 1) want to know 2) be in time for legal termination. had the scan at 23 weeks (late) and thankfully all good. continued to ring the GP asking why no midwife appointment and finally spoke to a receptionist who took ownership and said he'd personally check with the hospital. turns out the previous referrals were never received (!!!) and he made a new referral at week 25 (!!!), i finally got an appointment for week 27 (thanks) and scan for week 28 (no thanks, way too late!). so i see the midwife week 27 and get put through third degree about why i was a 'late booker' something associated with single mothers, unplanned pregnancy, chaotic lives and general irresponsibility and i swear she's about to call social services on me. she takes another set of bloods (yuck) because they've to be done by their own lab. week 30 comes and i ring the GP practice to ask about my blood results. apparently it takes more than 3 weeks to get results for routine bloods (i wanted to know if there were any abnormalities eg anaemia) and you guessed it, "please keep calling to check". ARGH. what's a girl to do.

so i decide to take matters into my own hands and comfort eat steak (in addition to making sure my antenatal vitamins contain iron) just in case, you know.

atariya

one of the perks of working near atariya is the odd cheeky lunch i get to sneak. sure beats tea and toast in the mess! raw fish isn't a categorical no no in pregnancy (don't get me started!) but i do avoid tuna, swordfish and shark because of their mercury levels. in fact, not had shark since i was 8 (?), before i learnt of the horrors of sharks' fin and haven't touched the stuff since. aside: proudest moment to date is substituting sharks' fin for a seafood soup when i organised prom at 16, and again at my wedding. so there :) chirashi done well is always a treat and i'm trying not to make a weekly habit of this. bi-weekly, maybe.

and because i'm greedy, after polishing off the chirashi i'd takopatchi too!

48h in paris

now i've to be a little careful about how i phrase this for fear of drawing disapprobation. let's just say i fortuitously got a friday afternoon off owing to some administrative oversight. and i found out while on the tube to work. so what's a girl to do but to plan an escape strategy? contemplated going north as i'm wont to do but figured i'd OD on friends the week before and didn't quite want to subject myself to the train journey. plus it was faster and cheaper to hop on the eurostar heh. was lucky to find eurostar tickets last minute, and get a good deal on a sweet hotel in a decent part of town. admittedly indulgent and hedonistic, plus the terrorist threat in paris isn't one to be taken lightly. but hey, why live in fear, you know?

so i sort of broke free from hospital as discreetly as possible at a respectable time, nipped home to pack an overnighter and was at st pancras before i knew it. had some time to kill so had yo! sushi tea before the 2h20min ride.

my plans for paris were few. basically wanted japanese food and to be on my own. there's something restorative about one's own company and i often get introvert hangovers where i need to shut down and recharge before subjecting people to me again. told a friend about this recently and he said he was the opposite and being on his own for 48h was his idea of hell!

but i mean how amazing is the thought of doing exactly what i wanted, when i wanted? not like i don't already in london heh but if i want to zz at 7pm, i will! if i want to have the same udon twice in two days, i will (and did!) and i walked in the tuileries, had berthillon ice cream, watched the boats along the seine the whole afternoon just lost in my thoughts. it was great :) came back really refreshed.

dins for one at sweet bistro that pierre hermes of macaron fame had his wedding party at. if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me!

and a friend suggested i attended mass at montmarte which i'm glad i did although in retrospect if i were so inclined to blow things up, this would've been a prime target.

best udon ever. better than in tokyo. better than koya in london.

had the biggest tauhuay craving and after a disappointing mr bean in singers this last trip (never again!) i was gobsmacked to have such authentic silken tauhuay and tounai in the chinatown part of paris. the only downside was that it's smack in the middle of mainland chinese hooker*land and crawling with dirty old frenchmen :/ so unpleasant. and because i'm in need of a hep B booster, i did get a little freaked out by potentially dirty crockery and cutlery :(

thoughts on finals

writing this on a rainy saturday morning at the end of easter break. exactly 2 months till my last exam. wanted to stop and take stock of medsch so far, of five years of my 20s that went by in the blink of an eye. thinking back to when i first romanced the idea of medicine as a second degree (while driving around tuscany with then manfriend / now mister on my grad trip) and realise how crazy it was to dive into another professional degree after finishing one. but really, the seed was maybe planted two years earlier when the mister was in belgium on exchange and i'd gone to visit him but got banished during his exams to dublin to stay with my cousin, who was then doing medicine as a graduate. meeting her and her engaging, articulate grad med friends who struck me as well-rounded and brimming with emotional depth make me think about the viability (and benefit!) of doing medicine in uni v2. so wanting something is really different from actually putting in the hard work to get it. and i'm constantly reminded of how good God is, from taking medsch entrance exams at the same time as my bar exam, to interviewing just before starting pupillage and to later find out mid-trial that i'd been accepted (and the defense soon capitulated, so it was mega wins all round!)

medsch itself has been a wonderful 'pause' button on life and its accompanying responsibilities in one's 20s. grateful for the time out, for what i joke is my 'five year sabbatical' before rejoining the workforce. have the horrible tendency to gloss over the bad (and why waste precious time and energy dwelling on the negative) but there were low points, like when the state of arrested development got to me (typically every birthday!) and my former colleagues were all climbing the legal practice ladder and becoming senior associates, junior partners and more laterly, partners!) and how my friends who'd gone straight into undergrad medicine were regs and soon-to-be consultants. or how many of the doctors who've been saddled with me in clinical years are younger than me but yay for azn looks and unless i'm wearing my wedding band, no one clocks that i'm maybe old enough to be their mother.

feel the undergrad medical course could easily be telescoped into 3.5 years but is deliberately prolonged for extra tuition fees and to give the younglings time to grow up. after all, not many 21 year olds would be good doctors. i defo wouldn't trust my 21 year old self to be a doctor. wish i could've done the accelerator course but alas, non-EU = ineligible. in a way the 5 year course is relaxed, wayy too much time off and hm i got to do other stuff so no real complaints, apart from this desire to get on with it and maybe get going on a career. with the way things are looking in the UK (yuck) and their increasingly protectionist measures (latest: hiring scores of foreign doctors but not allowing UK trained foreign doctors like me to remain... uh, why???) i'm not sure where i'll end up. it depends on the mister, where the wind blows him for work, and ultimately what i want to do (still don't know! please don't ask me what i want to specialise in!) oscillate between wanting to be a hospital consultant and doing some uber niche medicolegal thing where the arena is less crowded and i won't waste 5 years of legal training. then another part of me wants to be an itinerant earth mother home-schooling my photogenic brood who moves home every few months (years?) oh my poor imaginary gypsy family!

that's all far away, and for now the task at hand is plainly simple. revise, pass finals then re-assess. in a way the next two years are sorted (hellooo junior-doctor-dom in north*west*thames!) and if things go according to plan, i've accidentally got a break coming up pretty soon after starting work haha. at this point, i'm so near the finish line now it's time to stop being bored (attention span is way too short, can't sit still and study for more than half an hour, want to be on the internets or out and about!) give it one last push when i've never really pushed before. always felt we'd ample time and practice for exams then need to remind myself it's a course designed for undergraduates, for children unable to time-manage because i've a 6 year life headstart on most of them that comes with 6 more years of exam experience. then again, going from wonderful law exams (loved studying law, loved exams! such fun!) to re-training my brain to pick up all this science, and drug mechanisms and body systems etc. wish it were more a transferable skill but alas it's starting from scratch and creating a brand new schema. have gotten by on embarrassingly little so far, so much so i was a little too close to the wire but lived to tell the tale. only discovered textbooks this year (oh the shame, i blame over-reliance on excellent seniors' notes through lawsch) to which my father sniffed, "better late than never". he's great, constantly telling people in the lift "i'm amazed she's not failed yet". well, so am i! the whole intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation to study is a real struggle. should want to know more medicine so i'll be a good doctor and good for patients, but it's fear of failure that's driven me to work thus far!

my confidence took a beating earlier this year, a combination of meeting exacting consultants who didn't mince their words (and they were right!) and being overwhelmed by irrational finals fear. it all got too much and i ran away to NYC (trigger: anxiety / counter-productive coping mechanism: horriday) where i hung out with A who was a surgeon then realised it wasn't for her and went to oil&gas and is now a management consultant. and she's the loveliest creature ever and she talked sense into me, saying how she too was exhausted of having to explain why she's 'dr' (actually 'miss') to people because her life about-turn happened so many years ago, it's old news. she too faced the same confidence issue, where she used to be uber confident because she was a terrific surgeon but having to start at the bottom of a new industry, knowing nothing, really knocked her for six. and i realised that's how i felt too! which was encouraging because she promised that given time, i'd build confidence in this new arena and would be synergistic by the time i bridged newfound confidence with latent confidence. fingers crossed! still waiting for that to happen :)

whenever the finals anxiety hits, i try to remind myself it's a numbers game. that being older / more mature / responsible, fortunate not having to work part-time while studying already puts me at an advantage. so the game plan for now is head down and chip away at the mammoth mountain. to be systematic and efficient (because there's no time!) to study smart, to retain information, not to do conscience-assuaging revision where i re-read what i already know to massage my ego... part of me thinks there's plenty of time, having really only needed a couple of days before each preceding end-of-year exam. this will be a walk in the park, they want to pass me, right? cf membership exams where they want to fail me :/

only two months to go, will be over in no time and then helloo grad trip #2!

edit 16 june 2016: found out today that i passed finals. thank God.

breakfasts

am going through a sugar-craving phase and much as a i want to scoff honeynutcrunch before the sugar tax takes effect, i'm trying to resist giving my inner toddler free-rein. this probably isn't the healthiest of breakfast options but i tell myself that if something is (largely) made from scratch at home, it can't be too bad. baked the apples in butter and forgot to take them out of the oven so they conveniently dehydrated overnight and i feared the butter might've gone off. remembered i'd food the oven for breakfast and lived to tell the tale. paired with organic toffee banana yoghurt (so much for avoiding sugar) and my goodness that article about how fat with sugar tastes better than either individually (duh) was right!

maltby street

so i've not been in awhile and suddenly there's a hip new market that's not maltby street?? it's nearby though and i can't remember what it's called now but it seemed like a hipster offshoot with a cluster of stalls including this amazing one that sold oysters. but one can't go to maltby without having monty's pastrami and st john's custard donuts. and i may or may not have fallen in love with a vintage chesterfield in original condition (!!!) which may or may not have been purchased on a whim to remind me to age in a similarly graceful fashion. patina and the like, you know ;)

the plan is to redecorate one i'm done with medsch (and finally earning again haha) so the dear chesterfield is going to be the star my other little tweaks revolve around... exciting!

makfaulls in munich

always up for visiting a new city. love wandering aimlessly, taking in the sights and sounds and the general feel of the place. munich struck me as, dare i say, shabby? not as youthful and buzzing as berlin, nor as 'official' looking as frankfurt. it had a certain faded charm but not what i'd in mind for a large german city? then again i'm not articulating this very well. maybe i expected something new and shiny, swankier even. also felt i didn't really give it a chance as landed on friday night, spent saturday largely in the country and left on sunday evening. walked around on sunday and again maybe went to the wrong places but wasn't impressed? felt a wee underwhelmed and was even relieved that we'd spent saturday out of the city because i got a little bored on sunday and wondered if i was missing the plot.

the food, however, was excellent. and one of the highlights (apart from all that deep fried goodness and white beer) was catching up with J&A. serendipity had it that this was my third makfaull sighting of 2015, and maybe fourth in 12 months! caught up with A when he was in london at the end of last year, meant to stay with them in KL over summer when i went for P's wedding but, naughty, they surprised me with a room at a lovely hotel i've since fallen for and gone on to stay at (incidentally in munich too!) because it's such a great brand. they were in singers soon after with J's parents who've kindly hosted me in aix a few summers now, and when A was seconded to munich, the far east's loss was the continent's gain! chuffed to have squeezed out extra time with them.

for people who move around as much as we all do, it's a homecoming to see a familiar face, to be spared what we've come to term 'friendship foreplay' with the usual FAQ and pre-amble about where we've come from. for them, they've to explain he's aussie she's french and they met on exchange in stockholm. after which she moved to australia (perth then sydney) before they relocated to KL for work and now munich. who knows what the future holds?! and for me it's the whole barrister-turned medical student spiel which i don't mind on a good day but am admittedly self-conscious of on a bad day because people then expect me to be cerebral when i'm far from, or start asking tricky medico-legal questions i can't always answer, or try to get free medical and/or legal advice which i feel doubly irresponsible dispensing. A put it so nicely when he described 'wafer thin' experiences and friendships in a new place. because one has to start all over again, establishing connections is such a painful necessity and there's the odd person where it all clicks but more often than not it's tedious and don't really achieve anything at the end of cursory pleasantries. hence it's a bonus to meet up and go straight into deep meaning conversation mode because there is quality time without quantity.

had dins with my folks then escaped to J&A's beautiful apartment. they've impeccable taste and by chance had two of J's aix girlfriends and their respective +1s over too! funny story - i'd met the lovely girls summer 2010 in aix. one of them had a new bachelorette pad and we'd all gone round for the provencale cliche of rose on the terrace (with tapenade!). little did i know then that five years later our paths would cross once again in munich. the world is small and it shows just how J draws people to her from all over. was secretly relieved to be having a cosy night in with wine and chocolate because after a crazy week and marathon day out with folks the last thing i wanted was to be head banging in a grungy club. too old? or more like too lazy :P and with J&A i know they pick their nights and a grown up night in with riveting conversation (hitting one pressure point after another in a safe environment...) was just what i'd wanted. without going into two much detail, there was a german, three french misses, a frenchman, aussie and me and oh boy did we play to our national stereotypes ;)

majorca!

don't think this was how i'm meant to spend white time but who's counting! the scheduling gods gave me some opportune time off and on a whim the mister booked us to majorca. have heard lots of good things about the balearic islands but never thought to go! my relationship with london is love-hate at best but one of the things it does have going for it is its sheer connectivity. love how we're really only a couple of hours flight away from endless holiday possibility. was never much of a sun seeker, and still am not, but it's been a wet and grey few weeks and was desperate for some warmth. the mister, bless him, was quick to oblige and made it happen at almost no notice. which sort of takes the fun out of delicious anticipation but hey, a cheeky majorcan jaunt? count me in! we were lucky with the flights, seamless and took off on time. the bubbles with breakfast were a nice touch (well done, BA!) and okok maybe we were a little extravagant for a short-haul flight ;)

touched down in palma and the savvy mister who'd done the math figured it was way cheaper to rent a car than get hotel transfers for two both ways. hadn't planned on leaving the hotel (he jokes that i don't really see places but hotels...) but figured having wheels would give us some flexibility for exploration. although there is a rather incriminating photo of my grumpy fase on fb taken the exact moment he mooted leaving the cabana to check out the coastal roads.

will be posting over the next few days about the hotel and the (reluctant) touring we got up to so do check back if you'd like to see!

willing bell boy eight years and counting!

starred resto by day

and by night!

beautiful setting in old stone barn, a far cry from the stone bunkhouse i've spent a few nights in with wilderness medicine! they do an amazing christmas 'do or so we're told. and the olive oil was divine. it's all from their land but outsourced to be pressed and we couldn't resist loading up the suitcase with bottles for a chosen few friends.

also, we stuck out like sore thumbs because everyone else was senior citizen and white. not that i'm usually conscious about these things but i do wonder what's going through their mind when they clock us. just like how over dinner we'd people watch and guess their backstories, like the elegant german couple who wore the same thing two days in the row. the lady oozed a refinement that money can't buy, and the man looked like an evil inventor sort in suspenders. suspenders!!!

come wine with me

don't know about you but the mister and i celebrate most things with alcohol. not the healthiest of habits but it's testament to the power of advertising and branding, like how it's not a celebration if we don't pop open a bottle of champers. in fact, C very kindly gifted us bubbles graciously carried to london from trieste that we'd been saving for the occasion. it was such a labour of love (especially on ryanair!) and sweet of her to want us to try a product her hometown was famous for. all for cottage industry and this was from a small producer that doesn't export. she's born and bred and proudly trieste-ian(?) so if it's got her vote of confidence, that's more than reason to try.

oh! but for this celebratory steamboat meal we cracked open the brunello the mister's folks carried home for us after his tuscan trip two summers ago! they were in london when i was having exams and he knew for the sake of my academic transcript the three of them were better off in italy ;) good call, mister. without going into too much detail, it was a rough time at work and the mister brought the brunello to look forward to when the tide changed.

speaking of tuscany and brunellos, we've a bottle in singers waiting for me to graduate from medsch. because it was while we roadtripped tuscany in 2010 on my grad trip that the idea to sit medsch entrance exams and apply germinated. keep saying that if not for the mister's encouragement, and signing me up for entrance exams the same time as the bar exam (!!!) i would never have bitten the bullet. so we bought a good bottle then and i hope it's somewhere safe with his folk in singers for us to share with family when we're next home over summer. and our respective folk aren't big drinkers so hey, more for us :)

as a funny aside, the mister unilaterally decided our current red wine glasses were substandard (they're ikea...) and insisted on only drinking out of 'proper' wine glasses. which resulted in a race against time to the shops before they closed but we got lucky and it was love at first sight (for him) at john*lewis with this set. i initially lamented the expense but as the night wore on and the alcohol got the better of me, the wine glasses started to grow on me and now i think they're absolutely splendid and wonder why we didn't splurge earlier. oh i know why, he didn't have a fab job then ;)

fajitas

mondays aren't as hard as they were when i worked in a law firm. and i maintain that if mondays are consistently hard / blue-sy then one's in the wrong line. easy for me to say and don't mean to be smug about it but it's true! don't like waking early but once i get going, it's pretty exciting. another week, another adventure. thrilled to be where i want to be, doing what i want to do and feel incredibly fortunate to have that sort of job satisfaction. would recommend it to anyone, any time. but there are days when it's tiring, it's so human to be tired, isn't it. and it was lovely to be able to go round C's for fajitas. we joked that it was a cultural experience, and maybe it was. my first fajitas (deprived, i know!) and hopefully not the last.

ferry fun

it'd been a rough week. then again, the weeks usually are. started GP rotation and was feeling overwhelmed and out of my depth. nothing to do with the practice, that's been nothing but warm and welcoming, with great mentors who encourage and are patient with me and my multiple shortcomings. but it's first day (week?) jitters and i was being weaksauce. had anticipated more sociable hours after coming from women's health but oh no, ended up doing longer hours in GPland (?!). can't complain really because been fortunate to luck out with a practice near home and not spending hours commuting like friends who've found themselves assigned to practices in the middle of nowhere. and while it's a big-ish practice, it feels like one big happy family with each partner bringing something different to the table. great array of styles etc and their combined life experience is truly fascinating. that's something one of them shared about a vocation like medicine - it's not about age but what one has done before and what one brings with them. lots of honest, open bants and i appreciate the frankness and humility. they very quickly sussed out that i'd done something before and treated me like an equal from the get go, talking about family and relationships, the demands of the job and other fascinatingly grown up conversation that i've not always had. sometimes i don't like saying i'm older etc because expectations increase and i feel i disappoint people by not being as smart as they assume i'd be, but this was different and fun and i really like my temporary GP family.

but it was a long week and i needed a pick me up. actually, i always need a pick me up haha. there's a handy little ferry (random! i know!) and at the end of said ferry is a row of curry shops called curry mile. now i don't know about you but perfect autumn day, salty sea air and a curry to top it all is sort of my idea of sheer indulgence. was like a kid in a candyshoppe on the ferry because i like boats and all things nautical, islander heritage never far away haha, and just scampered to the top deck in wide eyed wonder. too easily pleased :)

the crew

we realised that night that we'd been going there for over eight years. i realised how grateful i am for these three in my life, for friends who've seen me at my worst and withold judgment. from the bad influences that they are. there was one low point at the lawsch library when K came with maccas because i was hangry, and C brought his box of teeth to count while i revised tort. K is a quickly ascending the greasy pole that is medical residency in singers, C is finishing his masters in orthodontics (yay london!) having gone straight in after a year of work and being one of the youngest in his class and J keeps getting more awesome, but he's my uncle and i'm biased. one of the things i realise with age and distance is that people fall by the wayside and it's sad to lose people who once meant a lot. on the flip side, i'm all the more appreciative of friends who stay there, whose friendship becomes stronger and the convergent change makes them an increasingly big part of my life and support network.

we used to manage rounds in our hazy youth but now it was a drink each (i had orangina) then early nights because K had to round first thing in the morning and we were all sleepy by 9.

stockholm revisited

give me half a chance and i'll wax lyrical about stockholm and the idyllic time i spent there as an exchange student 2009/10. it was a different season of life, one i thoroughly enjoyed and probably spend a little too much time dwelling on. trying to distil into words just what made it so special is difficult. it was the first time i was away from home on my own for an extended period and a journey of self-discovery, to sound so very cheesy. i learnt what my trigger points were, how i function best and just how many loo rolls i go through in a month. granted, much has changed, i've changed many times over, but it was a time where life was simple. my biggest decision was whether i wanted a cinnamon roll with my coffee in the morning.

have sort of resisted going back too soon after leaving so as to better avoid going down the nostalgia rabbit hole, but i think half a decade is a good enough length of time. and what struck me was the power of the subconscious. went for a walk the first morning with absolutely no agenda but muscle memory won and i ended up retracing steps i didn't know i'd remember.

stayed at a hotel next to ostermalmstorg and went past cafe opera, along the water by the grand hotel, passed old town, the ferry docks where we took the hell-ish overnighter to hellsinki, then up the stairs to hermans (closed) where i chuckled at the bus loads of tourists at the designated view point, not about to tell them the soder is more picturesque, the down to medborg, the anthony bourdain kebab stand and ventured into sofo before heading back via slussen.

what was also funny was how i remember tunnelbana stations by who lived at which one. J was at st erik's, I was at slussen... there was literally a memory on every corner even though the names of places had changed, the streets were the same. there was cafe where my parents interrogated F (A chickened out) before letting me travel to portugal with two german strangers, the city garden i left f11 for because drunk swedes was not my thing, berns where i'd lunch but not club at, cafe opera for wednesday nights.

was also conscious to discover new things and not merely try to condense an entire exchange into 72h. hadn't expected to feel so strongly being back in the city i once called home (but proud resisted going back to uni or old flat) and sorely missed the friends i'd spent glorious swedish summers (and less glorious winters) with. but hey, people move on. and if i could do anything differently, it'd have been to utilise the time and learnt svenska, and maybe audit more law classes taught in english. more social, more hedonistic then and i wonder what regrets i'll have five years down the line.

will be posting some photos and thoughts over the next couple of days if you'd like to see :) also, have added some commentary to the previous photo posts!
